We live in a culture that teaches us that it is ok and even honorable to live in pain. I believe there is another way to treat our bodies. I have witnessed through my work that you can be gentle with your body while simultaneously gaining strength, confidence, and self-love. I believe that your pain and discomfort is not a badge of honor.

I am a Pilates teacher, Postpartum Recovery specialist, former professional dancer, lifelong mover, toddler mom, wife, and Saugerties, NY resident. I see folks at my one-on-one in-home private studio, Lilac Pilates in Saugerties. 

When I opened Lilac Pilates, I wanted to name it something that captures the way I feel living in the Catskills. When I smell the ever-fleeting spring-time Lilacs, I experience a connection with how much beauty and joy is available in life. It is my intention that when you come to the studio, you remember just how strong, beautiful, and capable your one-and-only body is. 

My intention is that the movement you engage in at Lilac Pilates helps you reconnect with who you are.
